BATT24 Charging Station

Charges 24V 7AH and 12V 2.3AH NiCad batteries

Batt24 NiCad charger powers up to 10 batteries simultaneously within 2 hours and is also available as a single-unit mini charger.
The charging station houses 2 modules per charging unit.Closed Loop DC Servo is contained within the Gauging

The first module is the Charge Control Module (CCM) which is the user interface for the charging station that contains an LCD screen to display voltage and current and indicates charge status using LEDs. The second is the Battery Interface Module (BIM) that connects to the battery.

Superior Charging Algorithm

Unique algorithms employed for extensive fault detection to reduce cell stress and increase battery life.

These algorithms control:
√     Charging without discharging—voltage levels assessed to top up batteries with the necessary remaining charge
√     Trickling—trickle charger capability maintains cell voltage and allows batteries to remain charging until needed
√     Battery overheating—thermistor sensor monitors battery temperature and prevents overheating with emergency shutoff
√     Battery overcharging—battery cells are balanced automatically to ensure equal and appropriate voltage
